copy/paste from another source into Filemaker field changes layout formatting (10 Comments)

Description of the issue

In the previous version I had (FM7) I could copy from other documents and paste into my fields, the imported material taking the layout format I had as my defaults. Now, I get gigantic letters, in a different font, and different color, so I have to change the text in my field (one by one, font, size, color, style). this is very time consuming and annoying. I've checked my default settings and don't know why this is happening, only with material I copy from another document and paste in FM12. I wish I could go back to version 7. Can you please help me -- there must be a way to retain my layout settings, even when importing material.
