Description of the issue

I had reported an issue yesterday regarding occasional crashes when dragging guides. Now I am having consistent crashing and weird behavior. I can replicate one particular thing pretty reliably- if i click around in various fields in my layout, and then click on a button with a very simple script to cause a slide meny to slide- sometimes my mouse click will not activate it. From then on out until I change layouts and come back, I cannot click anything in the slider.

Sometimes the program will crash when I click that slider button. But otherwise, I'm getting intermittent crashing doing various things like inserting images or creating new records. Honestly- I'm feeling despondent. What am I going to do? I've loaded a week's work of backups and have the same problem. How could this suddenly come upon me? I run the recover and check for consistency and they detect no problems. I'm on a brand new mac book pro that has had no freezes or crashes.

I'm on a tight schedule. I've scoured the internet to try and follow best practices in every aspect of my database. I've never once put a verison of my database that crashed back into development- but now this? How can I possibly move forwards? I can't even conceive of the hole I'm in.

I've saved my crash reports (the first 6.. then I jus stopped) but i mean- they're 33 pages long. What do I do? rebuild it from scratch?? If so, can I copy layout objects- or might they be corrupted? And what's to say the exact same thing won't happen a week from now when I'm finished?
