Description of the issue

the Balance Due field of my invoices started adding the date to the other fields for that sum

note: have been using 8.5 for yrs and have been on Mavericks for months,
- nothing chanced recently
- this problem started today
- installed v13
- did not fix problem

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. checked what is in the summary field, just what should be there

2. removed all inputs to all fields including the date field

Expected result

2. to have zero in the sum field

Actual result

2. has the date as a number in the sum field added to the sum

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

none
