FMS 13 Admin Console shows daily backup still "Running" after 23 hours (1 Comment)

Description of the issue

FMS Admin Console shows scheduled daily backup still "running" after 23 hours.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Enable scheduled daily backup job.

Expected result

Scheduled daily backup completes in 1-2 hours.

Actual result

Admin Console shows scheduled daily backup job still running after 23 hours. This is the second consecutive day that the daily backup job shows as still "Running" in Admin Console many hours after it should have completed.

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

None directly.

After stopped the FMS services, the following message was received:

FileMaker Server 13.0v2 on CVMFM13 reported the following event:

2014-08-12 22:00:55.017 -0400 Error 691 CVMFM13 Schedule "2300 - Daily ALL backup only" aborted; time limit exceeded or server stopped.

Configuration information

FMS Admin Console scheduled job created to backup/verify/clone all databases (35) to a local drive and folder different than database drive and folder. Progressive backups (every 60 minutes) active and appears to be working correctly.

Workaround

After 23 hours, closed all databases and stopped the FMS services. Restarted the server.

After stopped the FMS services, the following message was received:
