Description of the issue

I have created several interactive container fields for PDF copies of various signed documents. When I originally set this up a few months ago, everything worked fantastically. The PDFs showed perfectly. However, this is no longer the case. When I insert a PDF in the field, the program briefly does not respond, then it opens the PDF in Adobe Acrobat. But, there is no preview in the container. Whenever, I scroll to the record with a container with a PDF, it opens Acrobat. I do not want this to happen.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Insert PDF.

Expected result

The PDF should interactively display in the container field.

Actual result

PDF does not show up and instead opens in Acrobat every time the record is accessed.

Configuration information

Not that I can think of. This is a single-user, local database.

Workaround

I wish I have found some.
