Description of the issue

We're currently working on a complex converted solution hosted on a remote server (the slowness is also happening on a local copy of the file).
Every time we save a layout while another user is connected, it can take up to 20 minutes!
And we experience a perfectly normal delay when only 1 user is connected.
This has a huge impact on our performance and we waste several hours daily watching the spinning beachball.
