OS X Mavericks, Yosemite BetaDescription of the issue
Shortcuts disappear from the Menu randomly.Mostly cmd-L or cmd-S maybe others too.
I have also crashes from time to time.
I had some additional shortcuts defined in the system preferences, for FileMaker.
After deleting those additional shortcuts from system preferences I did not have any disappearing FileMaker shortcut, nor any crash since 3-5 days.
Steps to reproduce the problem
define some additional shortcuts in OS X preferences panel.System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> App Shortcuts
I had used the following commands:
Largest Height ^ H
Script Debugger ^ D
Data Viewer ^ V
Layout Setup… cmd L
Largest Width ^ W
Conditional… ^ C
Value Lists… shift cmd V
Set Script Triggers… ^ S
Custom Functions… shift cmd C
Button Setup… ^ B
Custom Menus… ^ M
Change Theme… ^ alt cmd T
Expected result
Defining additional shortcuts via the OS should not lead to crashes or disappearing standard-shortcuts in FileMaker Pro.This is a standard OS Feature and should "just work". ;)
By the way: FileMaker should have more shortcuts defined or more options to define a wider range of shortcuts for a wider range of functions.
at least for:
Script Debugger
Data Viewer
Custom Functions…
Custom Menus…
Layout Setup…
Set Script Triggers…
Button Setup…
Conditional…
Actual result
randomly disappearing shortcuts in FileMaker. They disappear after some hours using FileMaker Pro (Advanced)
Restarting FileMaker Pro solves the problem for a while.

delete additional commands insystem preferences
opening all those windows and options with the mouse again and again with hateful attitude…
