Line and Scatter Chart won't chart all of the records in the database

Description of the issue

I have a simple data base. Each record has a field for the date and for my weight. The data base currently has 6518 records. I have made both line and scatter charts of my weight (y-axis) vs. the date (x-axis). In each case the chart does not show points for all of the records. Filemaker charts the first 6000 or so records and doesn't chart the final 400 or 500 (approximate number) of records. I had this same issue with Filemaker 11. Is there a record-limit in FileMaker for charting that I am running into? Or is there something that I can do to remedy this issue? Any help is appreciated.
