reproduceable crash with scripttriggers and Typinator (4 Comments)

Description of the issue

FMP crashing every time I enter a specific shortcut to trigger typinator.app

Steps to reproduce the problem

select a field in layout mode.
enable any script trigger for that field, maybe "OnObjectEnter"
The "Specify Script"-Window opens.
select any script from the script list.
put the cursor into the "optional script parameter" entry.

now comes the typinator shortcut:
.spe.
it will put the following string into the parameter entry:
_ScriptParameter_encode ( "" ; wert ) &

that puts the "Set Script Triggers" Window in front of the "Specify Script" Window and after a couple of seconds FileMaker crashes.

normal behavior

Actual result

allways reproduceable crash

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

the apple crash report window opens

Configuration information

this is the string inside the Typinator window:

_ScriptParameter_encode ( "{^}" ; wert ) &


(it comes with a Line Break on the end of the string)

Workaround

use Typinator in the "Specify Calculation" window only.
