Description of the issue

I bring up again an issue that has been reported by Lawrence Keyes in February 2012. Maybe now we have a solution that emerged in the meantime.

The problem is how to select items from a very long Drop Down List. I have a large one with 6000+ items. In Filemaker Pro I can use incremental search by typing the first few letters of an item. In Filemaker Go incremental search is not possible, the program reacts as if I would type in data.

If I use a pop up menu then the keyboard does not appear.

Is there now any solution available?
