We recently changed our servers from a single-server configuration to two-server configurations. When accessing our solution via Webdirect on one of the servers, we have found that exporting a file from a container field (stored externally) fails and instead produces an HTTP Status 404 error. The path makes me think is looking for the file on the web server, but the file probably resides on the db server. This worked normally when we had a single-server configuration. Both servers are Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 64-bit. 360works SuperContainer is also running on the web server. Both have FileMaker Server 13.0.5. I have tested WebDirect on Chrome and Safari for Mac.
Steps to reproduce the problem
Load a file onto a two-server configuration, and make sure it has an externally stored container field. Access the layout via WebDirect and try to download the file from the container field.Expected result
File downloads and opens.Actual result
HTTP Status 404 ErrorExact text of any error message(s) that appear
"HTTP Status 404 - /APP/global/0/legacy/0/STONE VISIONS 9.14 MS0911.pdf can not be found"Workaround
None found, although may implement SuperContainer via a WebViewer.Screenshot
