OS X v8.4 and v8.5 loses mouse functionality with FM Pro 11

Description of the issue

I have customer who is unable to use mouse or trackpads with Filemaker Pro 11 solution on computers using OSX v8.4 and 8.5. The mouse and trackpads work on all other apps that are non Filemaker.

Is anyone experiencing this and is there a fix?

Steps to reproduce the problem

I do sales for the solution. Am not a developer.
But customer starts Filemaker Pro 11 and any actions within Fm require keyboard combinations.
