This was not a problem in FileMaker 11, but now this is a gigantic problem in FileMaker 12.Check out the screenshot below.
It looks like all 4 elements (2 text fields + 2 text labels) are selected, right? Because you can CLEARLY SEE that there are handles in the shape of a box surrounding all 4 elements!!
But no… in actuality, only THREE (3) of those 4 elements are selected. You have to look for the ALMOST INVISIBLE, ALMOST NAKED TO THE HUMAN EYE, BARELY DISCERNABLE, LIGHT BLUE BORDERS that are surrounding the 3 selected elements.
It's moronic design changes like this that has skyrocketed our development time in FileMaker 12 go from a few seconds per change to DOZENS OF MINUTES PER CHANGE.
This is a total atrocity to FileMaker developers worldwide. The engineers at FMI need to go back to the drawing board with FileMaker 12 and start all over again.
