Description of the issue

See scrip below.
First layout user can choose his name from a pop-up menu and choose date.
Script opens next layout and needs to fill in these two values in two fields when a new record is created.
On a Windows computer values are set, on an iPad values are not set. How to solve, because now the user has to put both values twice.
User needs to put in both values on first layout because on that layout he/she can cjoose differrent layouts according to the task to be done
