Description of the issue

When entering a special character into a text field (for example a vowel with an acute accent) the character appears correctly but is followed by 30 empty spaces.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Enter á into a text field.

Expected result

á

Actual result

á

Configuration information

Various keystrokes normally (in other programs) produce the correct results (without the added empty spaces), but not with FM.

Workaround

Custom menu with a list of accented vowels, but that is awkward to use.
