Description of the issue

I have some problems with the certificate documentation.
1) When I create a certificate using the GoDaddy supported certificate I get asked what it is for at the end of the process. The choices include Apache, Mac OS X, Tomcat and other. As I'm on a Mac I assumed OS X but is this correct? Worse still at least with that option they supply two files and indicate both should be loaded. The documentation with FMS does not seem to provide any guidance in this situation.
2) The server panel provides a certificate import function. But it seems this must not be used if the request for a certificate was with the CLI command. I cannot find any information on the other method for obtaining the certificate . Is this explained anywhere I can access?
