Description of the issue

With a mixture of check box fields and a text field set up in a form, I find that when I tick a check box my cursor immediately skips to the text field. The check box displays the tick but it is frustrating and annoying that I am prompted to a part of the form that I do not want to address. If I remove the field from the form and then reinstate it then the problem can disappear but only temporarily. I also notice that the default entry in that text field is the number "0"!! I am unable to resolve this in any way. This is also annoying.
