fmp12 file suddenly requiring a password in 10.9.1 - when no password was ever assigned! (1 Comment)

Description of the issue

I had created a file in FMP12 on OSX10.8 - and NEVER assigned a password.

After upgrading to 10.9.1, the file is now requiring a password - and I have no idea what it is. I went to the length of buying FileMaker Key from PAssware -- and after running this program, was shown:

Protection: FileMaker 12.0 Database - EFS encrypted
Admin password: no password is set
Guest password: no password is set

Workaround

NO WORKAROUND! I'm stuck!!
