Cannot add new fields

Description of the issue

Can not longer add a new field to my database. Program locks up. This is happening on all of my different databases. Not sure if it software, but it is happening on Home Computer and Laptop.

Steps to reproduce the problem

I have restarted computers. No luck. Thinking about reinstalling the program, but hoping for a quicker fix.
