Description of the issue

Running a Windows Server 2008 64-bit machine and have FileMaker Pro 11 client installed on this machine and are running this as a RemoteApp for clients connecting over Terminal Services.

Copy and paste works erratically, usually failing after a couple of paste operations, often not working at all - both within FileMaker and when copying content from local apps.

Basically looks like FileMaker's implementation of the clipboard is not quite right and causes clipboard failure somewhere along the line. This has long been an isse with FileMaker over TS.

Interestingly running this RDC RemoteApp connection on Mac OSX, the clipboard works OK, but on Windows XP and Windows 7 it fails.

Same problem with FM10.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Set up a 64-bit Windows Server 2008 (not R2), install FM 10 or 11 and set it up as a RemoteApp, then connect to that remote system from an XP or Win 7 machine. Create a database and try copy and paste - it will fail after a couple of test copy and pastes

Workaround

NONE - this is a critical issue for anyone running FileMaker over TS
