Involving...Actual ODBC Driver for Open Source Databases
version 3.1.16
MySQL 5.0.77
This past year, I began experiencing a problem when using a Filemaker Pro interface in Mac OS 10.8, but not Windows 7. The interface connects to a MySQL database via ODBC, and the performance of the interface was the same in both Mac and Windows until recently.
In Mac OS 10.8 FMP (both 11 and 11 Advanced), whenever I modify a value in a field and leave the field, I get the alert "This record was modified by another user since you started editing it. Do you want to save your changes anyway and possibly overwrite their changes?"
I'm always the only one in the interface, and this happens in all types of form field types (text boxes, drop-downs, etc.). Again, this is only a problem in Mac OS 10.8 FMP, not Windows 7.
Could this be a problem with the Actual ODBC Driver for Open Source Databases? I'm going to copy this email and send it to Actual Tech as well.
