Description of the issue

This appears to be another, but different manifestation of unstable behavior in FileMaker Go.

GetField will return null instead of the expected value at random intervals until you close the FileMaker Go app and restart it. It then works correctly--for a while.

Configuration information

I've now seen this step fail to work in 3 completely different files. I even created a small demo file that reproduced the bug after carefully figuring out why a script in my development file worked in FM PRO but failed in FM GO only to see the bug disappear in both files once I restarted FM GO.
