Sort Records dialog can't resize source field column (1 Comment)

Description of the issue

In Windows 7, in both the Sort Records dialog window and the Specify Field Order for Export dialog windows, when the window the source column on the left side doesn't resize. This makes it impossible to see the field names for fields with long names, especially from related tables in which the table name precedes the field name.

There doesn't appear to be any way to make this column wider.

(On the Mac version, this column is resized correctly to allow viewing long field names)

Steps to reproduce the problem

From a layout screen choose sort records. Resize the Sort Records dialog windows. The column on the left hand side does not resize.

Try doing this with a layout that has long field names and only the first 25-30 characters will be visible in the first column. This is more apparent when fields in the layout reference a related table instance with a long name.

The same resizing behavior is found when choosing to export records from a layout.

Expected result

Both columns in these dialog windows should resize when the window is resized. This is the behavior that exists in the Mac version of FilemakerPro
