Description of the issue

Hello, I am using Filemaker 13 and love the pop-up button and its functionality .One of my colleagues is using Filemaker 12 and the pop-up menu isnt available to it.Whenever she access my file the pop-up button isnt available.After that when i open the file,i am also unable to use pop-up button.Although i am using filemaker 13... I have to remake the copy again and then i can access the pop-up buton Please suggest what issue it could be?
