Product

FileMaker Pro

Version

13v1

Operating system version

OS X 10.8.5

Description of the issue

there is a button on top of a drop down list - the button only shows up for portal records which are determined by a flag in that record - whenever the flag is not set the field underneath will be selected and has a drop down list associated.
the portal is based on a TO which allows the creation of related records.
on the last line when a new related record is created and the button is hidden because the criteria validates in some cases depending portal rows might have been deleted or not before the creation of that line - the entire line's fields are hiding even they are not grouped or set to hide.

Steps to reproduce the problem

create a portal based on a TO which allows to create related records
add a drop down list with values where one of the values selected determines if a portal field has to be displayed (via the new fm13 hiding feature)
create rows thru the last line
delete rows via delete portal row
add another row and select from the drop down list the value to hide the field
now repeat until in some cases the last line won't display anything
the line has been created and field contents entered but they won't show up

Expected result

only the object where hiding is used shall hide - nothing else - not the entire portal row

Actual result

the actual portal row's field contents hide

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

-

Workaround

turned of hiding - and replaced logic with stacked selection of fields and conditional formatting - which strangely are also faster then the new hiding feature - even more complex and same predicates used
