Issue report by Technical Services

Product

FileMaker Server

Version

13 (13.0.1.224)

Operating system version

Mac OS X - 10.8.5

Description of the issue

When trying to access my freshly installed FileMaker 13 Server Admin Console from a different LAN connected computer, I receive a FMS served 404 error page.

I have completely reinstalled the Mac OS and FMS 13 four times now, with the exact same result...

I have looked through your Knowledge Base & Forums, as well as extensive Googling for a solution... with no results.

Sincerely frustrated and looking for help.

Steps to reproduce the problem

1. Format hard drive.
2. Clean install Mac OS X 10.8.5
3. Install FMS using "fms_13.0.1.224.dmg" image download from FileMaker site.
4. Step through all installation steps, accepting all recommended options.
5. Verify proper setup, and access to http://localhost:16001/admin-console/
6. Attempt to access the system from a remote LAN connected workstation at http://<hostname>:16000 or http://<ip-address>:16000
