Description of the issue

When doing a 2-finger scroll up, down, left, or right on my MacBook pro, the web page sits on the grayed out page with the spinning wheel for a very long time. Makes it impossible to scroll through a list view. Tried using both safari and firefox. Same issue.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Just go to any web direct hosted database and try doing a 2-finger scroll, any view

Expected result

A portal with scroll bar should scroll, or a list of records in list view should scroll

Actual result

The page grays out, displaying a spinning gear icon for several seconds

Exact text of any error message(s) that appear

no text or error
